Congratulations to Short Avenue Elementary school fifth grade students, Millie Escolero, Nicholas Welch, and Johnny Rodriguez, for winning a certificate of achievement in Latin at the 4th Annual “Celebrating Bilingualism and Biliteracy Awards”, presented by School Board President Steve Zimmer. This recognition is granted annually to students in the Venice complex who demonstrate excellence in English and other languages.
