To kick-off the 2018-2019 school year, Short Avenue is hosting three fabulous food trucks + a live concert featuring the Del Rey Community Jazz Band on Wednesday, August 15 starting at 5pm on the front lawn.
Truck line up offers returning favorite The Greasy Weiner (offering award-winning hand-made hotdogs made from locally source ingredients, sausage, burgers and specialty fries); Tender Grill, authentic gourmet Brazilian cuisine showcasing Picanha (Top cap sirloin butt cap), Brazilian pork sausage, black beans, white rice, farofa (toasted yucca flour), creamy stroganoff, appetizers such as coxinha, pao de queijo (cheese bread), empadas (Brazilian pies), kibe, offering gluten-free and vegan food, and to top it all off the Pudding Truck serving scrumptious home-made puddings with an assortment of toppings
Relax with new and old friends, let the children play, and enjoy a tasty picnic style meal with savory and sweet treats on a warm August evening. Short Avenue’s Food Truck Fiesta is the third Wednesday of the month during day light savings times.
