Classroom baskets are due Tuesday, March 14. After checking with the front office, sign the Silent Auction Check-In sheet and bring baskets to room 1, where we also have cellophane to wrap them.  You can check out our catalog, which is updated frequently.  We are also still soliciting service/ business gift certificates or merchandise that we can enter into our Silent Auction: anything from sporting/ concert/ amusement park or show tickets or a free haircut to cooking classes or guitar lessons.

Here are some examples of silent auction items to help spur your creative thinking on donation items and here is a wish list of Silent Auction items.

What Can I Do?
If you have any contacts that you would like us to follow-up with or ideas to explore, please let us know how we can help. Here is a donation request letter and a donation receipt form, that you can give to merchants in exchange for their contributions.  Many places need a minimum of 45 days  or more advance notice, some need 90 days.  Please let us know if you are planning on approaching anyone, so that we do not bother merchants unnecessarily and do not duplicate efforts.  Some parents are already hard at work procuring goodies for our auction.

The Short Avenue auditorium will be transformed into an elementary engineering space marvel with student projects that showcase expanded learning, integrating 21st century skills with real-life, hands-on experience. Introducing children to engineering in elementary school brings a host of benefits.  Classroom engineering activities often require students to work in collaborative teams where they must communicate effectively. These skills will be critical for career success in any field.

Tickets go on sale now in the front office for In-N-Out in late February.  Get them before we sell out! The excitement begins at 4:30.
