Reconnect and make new friends at our annual back to school picnic.

Restaurant Nights & Food Truck Fiestas
Food Truck Fiesta: Bring your picnic blanket and have a bite on the front lawn at one of our many Food Truck Fiestas!
Restaurant Nights: Visit some of your favorite local dining spots with the Short Avenue community.

Dolphin Derby
A favorite event by all! Run. jog, skip, dance or wheel your way around the school track - all while raising money for the school. This is one of our largest FUNdraiser events of the year!

Spring Silent Auction and Mixer
A springtime adults only good time! Come shop our silent auction and party with the community. A parent favorite event!

Penny Wars
A student favorite and a way to get rid of your spare change lying around your home! A week long event where adding and deducting coins becomes a competition between the student classrooms.

Fall Festival
A favorite by students and parents! From Food trucks, games, petting zoo, DJ, haunted house, costume contest & more we've got all of your Halloween fun in one night!

Farm Fresh To You – Eat Healthy & Support Short Avenue!
Farm Fresh To You is proud to offer our community a convenient way to eat healthfully! With every delivery of fresh, organic produce and natural grocery items, Short Avenue Elementary earns 10% back—and you save 5% on all your deliveries.

Turn Your Groceries into Support for Short Avenue!
By simply linking your Ralphs or Food 4 Less rewards card to Short Avenue Elementary (Group #91790), every grocery trip earns money for our school—at no extra cost to you. A percentage of what you spend is donated back to Short Avenue and helps fund enrichment programs, classroom supplies, campus improvements, and community events throughout the year. All you have to do is shop as usual, and your everyday purchases make a big impact!
How to Enroll:
- ralphs.com or food4less.com (or call 1‑800‑660‑9003).
- Community Rewards in your account settings.
- Short Avenue Elem – FOSA (Group #91790) and click “Save.”
Within 72 hours, “Short Avenue” will appear at the bottom of your receipts.
Remember: You must re-enroll every year after September 1st to keep earning rewards for our school!
